Wassiem Abdelmalek P.T. Cert. MDT., JSCC.

Wassiem graduated in 1991 from Cairo University with a Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy. He has lived and worked in Southern California since 1993. He has practiced at Irvine Regional Hospital until 2002, and then at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana until 2005. Wassiem has been a licensed physical therapist since 1994 in California. He is certified in the McKenzie Method and Strain-Counterstrain techniques. He has held the McKenzie certification in treating the spine since 2000; he is 1 of 7 certified therapists in Orange County. He is also 1 of 10 certified therapists by the Jones Institute for the, Strain-Counterstrain technique. He is a certified ergonomic specialist and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Wassiem is trained in numerous manual therapy techniques in treating general orthopedics as well as in assessment and injury prevention.

Away from his practice, Wassiem enjoys playing sports with his wife and two sons. He is also an active member of his church.
